• Don't cross the IC/OOC line. It's the number one golden rule of roleplaying and should go without saying. Seriously, don't do it.
• No God-modding. It's another golden rule. There will be no warnings, you will be removed.
• Keep things realistic. There are links on the first post in this journal to help you out. If you're not familiar with the city you can glance over the wikipedia page and do a google search to see what all there is in the city. There's also a link to the weather, so try to play along as realistically as possible. Obviously you're not expected to know the exact temperatures everyday, but it clearly doesn't snow in July in Georgia.
• Keep things realistic when choosing a face for your character; it's pretty obvious that Kat Von D isn't a corporate giant. It's also obvious that Nick Jonas isn't a middle-aged CEO and George Clooney clearly isn't fresh out of high school. When it comes to age, a good rule of thumb is to only go three years older or younger.
• This is a town-based game centered around a real city (Atlanta, GA) and characters in this game should live, work, and play in Atlanta.
• Journal names and aim names (if you choose to have one, they are not required but strongly suggested!) should pertain to your character. Journal names should consist of the character's name. Please avoid excessive underscores, x's, or numbers.
• Activity keeps a community going! Activity checks will be done on the 25th of every month, and you must provide a thread (At least five replies) or a journal entry (At least two paragraphs). A post will be made by the mods in the main community with comments screened. Three days after the activity check post all members who failed to provide proof will get a reminder. Members will have exactly one week to provide proof of activity.
• In an effort to prevent role hogging, there is currently a two character limit per writer. This may change in the future, and we might allow you to bring more characters in, but for now two is the limit. You must keep both characters active.
• Before applying you must have a detailed biography or fifteen detailed facts about your character. We also recommend a friends only and contact post(s), but they are not required.
